Elyson Salata Salad Kitchen Now Open in Cypress
Houston-based Salata Salad Kitchen, a fast-casual salad franchise known for customizable, build-to-order salads, wraps, and more, opened its latest restaurant on April 25 in Elyson. Situated at 22310 FM 529 in Cypress, this new location is the twentieth restaurant opened by multi-unit franchisee Joe Piro and his company, Supreme Greens, LLC.
Established in 2005 by Berge Simonian, Salata has made its mark in the fast-casual restaurant category by providing quick, healthy meal options tailored to any lifestyle. With over 50 fresh toppings, five salad bases, and 11 house-made, gluten-free dressings, Salata's menu boasts broad appeal. Other offerings include soups, organic teas, lemonades, fresh fruit, vegetables, and lean proteins - all prepared and chopped daily on-site.
Customers can enjoy Salata through online orders with options for pick-up and delivery besides dine-in and catering services. The brand further promotes loyal patronage with its Salata Tastemaker Rewards program, where points and rewards can be earned with every purchase.

The Elyson Salata celebrated its grand opening by hosting a "dine for a cause" initiative featuring on-site adoptions with Cypress Lucky Mutt Rescue, a local nonprofit dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters and owners unable to care for them. Opening day offerings included free Salata branded swag for early bird customers and a free small veggie salad for guests who download the Salata Tastemaker app and join the rewards program.
With almost 100 locations across Texas, Georgia, Southern California, Louisiana, and North Carolina, Salata continues to be a leading player in the fast-casual restaurant category and aims to maintain this position with its tech-enabled advancements and its commitment to providing healthy options to customers.
