A Taste of Cy-Fair Returns October 25 to Bridgeland’s Lakeland Village Center for a Flavor-Packed Night Benefiting Cy-Hope

August 18 2025

One of Cy-Fair’s most beloved community traditions is back this fall with more flavor, more local flair, and a deeper purpose than ever before. The sixth annual A Taste of Cy-Fair is happening Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Lakeland Village Center at Bridgeland (10615 Fry Rd, Cypress, TX 77433). This outdoor culinary and cultural showcase brings together local restaurants, craft drink vendors, small businesses, and neighbors from across Cypress and the Cy-Fair area—for a cause that gives directly back to the community.

More than just a night of amazing food and drink, A Taste of Cy-Fair is a fundraiser in its purest form. 100% of all ticket and silent auction proceeds support Cy-Hope, a nonprofit whose mission is to make life better for under-resourced youth in Cy-Fair ISD and surrounding neighborhoods. Through programs like counseling, speech therapy, Hope Centers, and the popular Backpack Program in partnership with the Houston Food Bank, Cy-Hope provides real, practical support to families who need it most.

And for those who attend? It’s an unforgettable night out in Cypress.

Local Flavor Takes Center Stage

This year’s event lineup features dozens of Cypress and Greater Houston restaurants offering generous samples of their signature dishes—from sizzling Tex-Mex and wood-fired pizza to upscale steakhouse fare and artisan desserts. Highlights include Cypress area fan favorites like Dario’s Steakhouse, Marvino’s Italian, Galiana’s Tex Mex & Agave Bar, Creekwood Grill, Dolce Tentacion, Tiff’s Treats, Fogo de Chao, and many more. Whether you’re a foodie or just hungry, there’s something for every palate.

On the beverage side, attendees can sip their way through premium wines, craft beers, and specialty cocktails from vendors like Restivo Family Cellars, Rusty Hook Winery, and Lambeau’s Sports Bar & Grill. Adult guests receive a commemorative tasting glass at the gate to sample their way through the evening.

VIP Perks, Live Music & Local Shopping

General admission opens at 5:00 PM, but VIP ticket holders (21+ only) enjoy exclusive early access starting at 4:00 PM, plus access to the VIP-only tent lounge with its own entertainment lineup, a private air-conditioned restroom, and a souvenir goodie bag. It’s the most comfortable way to indulge—and VIP tickets sell out every year.

Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy live music on both the main stage and in the VIP tent, plus browse the Taste of Cy-Fair Market, where local businesses and makers share their latest creations. Vendors like Cypress Succulents, Old Bones Chill Co, Roro’s Retro, K&K Cheesecakes, and Houston Repertoire Ballet will be onsite offering handmade goods, specialty services, and sweet treats.

It’s not just a festival—it’s a hyperlocal celebration of everything that makes Cypress special.

Every Dollar Stays in Cy-Fair

Organized by a dedicated all-volunteer board made up of local restaurant owners and residents, A Taste of Cy-Fair is more than just an event. It’s an annual tradition built on service, generosity, and grassroots giving. Founding members like Mark McShaffry (Backyard Grill), Kristen Grider (Herrera Restaurants), Brian Sandel (Creekwood Grill), Holly Calbat (Cy-Hope), and Robin Beattie (Squeaky Wheel Marketing) work behind the scenes year-round to ensure the event continues to grow in both size and impact.

From food to fun to fundraising, every single ticket, sip, and auction bid supports Cy-Hope’s mission to transform lives right here in Cy-Fair.
