Cypress-Tomball Democrats Monthly Meeting

The Cypress-Tomball Democrats will hold its next monthly meeting, Monday, March 20, 2023, at Rudy’s Grill and Cantina, located at 11790 Grant Rd, Cypress, TX 77429. Our speaker will be Tara Cummings – 2023 Cy-Fair School Board Election - Insights and direction as to how we as a club can contribute.

Tara Cummings is a fierce public education activist and board member of “Cy-Fair Strong Schools”, a local general PAC focused on protecting Cypress-Fairbanks ISD by electing pro-public education school board candidates. Tara is a first generation college student who went on to earn a PhD and become a respected leader in her field and she is fond of proclaiming, "Public school made me”! She is ride-or-die for teachers and school staff, she believes that public educators are distinguished experts in their field and she fights to ensure that they are respected and treated as such. Tara is passionate about educating and empowering her pro-public education neighbors to step up in order to protect our local public schools from harmful, hyper partisan extremism so that every student receives the exceptional, equitable public education that they deserve.

All are welcome to attend and to join this growing club, which meets on the third Monday of every month.
