Hearthstone Garden Club August Social and Plant Swap

The Hearthstone Garden Club invites everyone—residents and non-residents alike—to enjoy an evening of gardening camaraderie and neighborhood fellowship at the Hearthstone Garden Club August Social, set for August 19, 2025 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Hearthstone Country Club. Appetizers will be provided, and guests are encouraged to bring a plant to swap, creating an opportunity to share greenery, tips, and stories with fellow plant enthusiasts.

Founded in 1978, the Hearthstone Garden Club has long been a cornerstone of community beautification and service, planting the iconic oak trees along Huffmeister, developing the Friendship Garden, and supporting charities such as Cy-Fair Helping Hands and the Brookwood Community’s garden therapy program. Affiliated with the Houston Federation of Garden Clubs, District IV, Texas Garden Clubs, the South Central Region, and the National Garden Clubs, the club embraces a mission of gardening education, floral design, and environmental responsibility.

Whether you are an avid gardener, new to plants, or just looking to meet new people in a friendly, welcoming environment, this event is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the club’s work and enjoy an evening with neighbors.

Admission: Free and open to the public. Membership in the club or residency in Hearthstone is not required.
