How to Build a Senior Outreach Village in Your Neighborhood

A 2010 survey by AARP found that nearly 90% of older adults in America want to stay in their homes and communities as they age. The "Village" model helps older adults to age in a place of their choosing, connected to their communities with the practical supports and tools they need to create successful aging of their own design. Please join us at 7pm on Thursday, March 3 to hear Karie Lawrence, co-founder of the Jersey Village Senior Outreach group share how she and her neighbors successfully built a thriving Village. She'll help you learn how to replicate the Village concept in your own neighborhood. We meet at the HCA Healthcare Cypress Conference Center at 21214 Northwest Freeway. Refreshments served at 6:30pm.
