Migration Celebration - Meet the Monarchs

Friends of Willow Fork Park invite families to a "Migration Celebration-Meet the Monarchs," a free program Saturday, March 30, at the park.

The one-hour program will begin at 9 a.m. and will look at all stages of monarch butterfly development from egg through caterpillar, chrysalis and on to butterfly, thanks to members of the Coastal Prairie Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists. 

The program will be at the pavilion in the park at the northwest corner of Texas 99/Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Boulevard. It will be followed by guided tours of the park's butterfly garden. Master Naturalists will discuss key elements to consider in planning a backyard butterfly garden.
