Fairfield's Inwood Park Residents Invited to Annual 4th of July Parade Kicking Off at Ault Elementary

June 30 2025

Fairfield residents—including those in the Inwood Park section—are invited to kick off their Fourth of July 2025 in true red, white, and blue style at the neighborhood’s annual Independence Day Parade. The celebration begins bright and early on Thursday, July 4, at 9:00 a.m., with the parade launching from Ault Elementary School, located at 21010 Maple Village Dr, Cypress, TX 77433.

This year’s route will take participants and spectators past Salyards Middle School and wrap up at Central Park Clubhouse, a familiar and festive gathering spot in Fairfield. The parade is open to everyone, and no registration is required.

Residents are encouraged to get creative and bring their own patriotic flair. Whether it’s a car, truck, golf cart, bike, stroller—or just yourself—participants are invited to decorate their ride (or outfit) in red, white, and blue. The Fairfield Women’s Club (FWC), which helps organize the event, asks that all parade participants arrive at Ault Elementary by 8:30 a.m. to get lined up by vehicle type.

Patriotic Parade Decorating Ideas for the Whole Family

Need a little inspiration to make your Fourth of July sparkle? Whether you're riding or walking in the parade, Fairfield residents—including those from Inwood Park—are encouraged to show off their most creative, patriotic flair. Here are some festive decoration ideas to help you stand out and celebrate the red, white, and blue:

For Vehicles (cars, trucks, trailers, golf carts)
  • Drape American flags across doors, bumpers, or hoods
  • Use streamers, bunting, and balloon arches in patriotic colors
  • Add magnetic stars and window clings with “USA” or “Freedom” slogans
  • Create a mini float with festive backdrops or themes like “Land of the Free” or “Home of the Brave”
For Bikes, Scooters, and Strollers
  • Wrap handlebars with ribbons and star garland
  • Attach pinwheels, flags, or paper rockets
  • Add glow sticks or LED lights for extra flair
  • Decorate helmets with temporary patriotic decals

  • Wear red, white, and blue tutus, bandanas, headbands, bows or hats
  • Paint faces with stars or tiny American flags
  • Carry handheld flags or patriotic pinwheels
  • March in coordinated family T-shirts that spell out “USA”
For Pets
  • Dress them in star-spangled bandanas or lightweight vests
  • Attach small flags to leashes (safely and comfortably)
  • Use pet-safe face paint for a little patriotic touch

This year’s Fairfield Fourth of July Parade is more than a celebration—it’s a chance to showcase community creativity, unity, and spirit. Let your imagination run wild and show up ready to shine in red, white, and blue!

To ensure the safety of all participants, those walking in the parade will be placed toward the end of the procession. The Fairfield Women’s Club (FWC) will provide signage on-site to guide participants and help organize the line-up process. Parade participants are encouraged to bring water to stay hydrated.
