
Harris County Precinct 3 Offers Diverse Summer Camps Across Cypress, Spring, Humble, and Highlands in 2025
As families across the Greater Houston area plan for the warmer months ahead, Harris County Precinct 3 is rolling out a wide variety of free and low-cost summer camps for kids of all ages, offering everything from outdoor adventures to STEAM activities, archery, animal encounters, and more. Hosted at community centers, parks, and nature preserves throughout Cypress, Spring, Humble, Highlands, Huffman, and Crosby, the 2025 summer lineup is designed to keep children active, engaged, and learning—all summer long.
With programs starting in late May and continuing through July, these camps provide educational and recreational enrichment for children and teens, many of them requiring only registration to attend.
Outdoor Skills and Nature Exploration at Jesse Jones Park & Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve
Young adventurers can get hands-on with the great outdoors through camps like “Becoming an Outdoor Kid” at Jesse Jones Park & Nature Center in Humble. Camps run June 4–6 or June 24–26 for ages 5–10, and June 16–18 or July 7–9 for ages 11–14 in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. At Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve, the "Roving Rangers Summer Camp" runs June 3 through July 31 with themed weeks for different age groups.
