The Enrichery Expands to Katy-Fulshear, Offering Holistic Tutoring and Test Prep for Students Year-Round

April 17 2025

This spring, The Enrichery made its debut in Katy-Fulshear, offering families in the area a new, holistic approach to tutoring, test prep, and academic coaching. Founded in 2015 and known for going beyond the basics of schoolwork, The Enrichery is now one of Houston’s fastest-growing educational support services—with the Katy location marking its fifth branch.

The new center, which officially opened at 5300 Ranch Point Dr, Katy, TX 77494 near Cinco Ranch II and Cross Creek Ranch in mid-February 2025, is led by Sarah Seitz, an experienced educator and business leader who was inspired by both personal passion and professional vision to bring The Enrichery’s model to life in this family-oriented part of town.

“I chose Katy-Fulshear because the community is thriving, family-driven, and surrounded by excellent schools,” Seitz shared. “It’s the perfect place to make a positive impact on students and families.”

Building Skills for School—and Life

What makes The Enrichery in Katy unique isn’t just its sleek learning spaces or flexible summer programs—it’s the focus on executive functioning skills like time management, organization, and strategic thinking. These life-long tools are woven into every program, from academic tutoring and SAT/ACT test prep to college admissions coaching and summer enrichment courses.

“We’re not just trying to raise GPAs,” Seitz explained. “We’re building confident, adaptable students who are ready for whatever challenge comes next—whether that’s a tough math class or their first college interview.”

Students meet one-on-one with highly trained academic coaches in a welcoming, distraction-free setting designed to maximize focus and motivation. The Katy-Fulshear branch features private tutoring rooms, collaborative spaces, and customized materials tailored to each learner’s goals.

As Seitz put it: “We combine proven teaching strategies with a personalized approach to help each student discover their strengths and take ownership of their growth.”

Why Summer Tutoring and Test Prep Matters

As summer approaches, parents often ask whether it’s worth continuing academic work during the school break. According to a 2020 report by the National Summer Learning Association, students typically lose between 20–30% of the knowledge they gained during the school year over summer vacation—a phenomenon known as the “summer slide.”

That’s where The Enrichery steps in.

“Our summer programs are designed to keep students engaged while giving them a head start on the next school year or college entrance exams,” said Seitz. “Summer is actually the best time to focus on test prep because students are less overwhelmed by regular homework and can build skills without pressure.”

Driven by Passion and Purpose

Seitz, a West Memorial resident and avid triathlete, credits her love for human performance and psychology with shaping her leadership style. When she’s not growing the business, she’s likely training outdoors with her husband and their two white golden retrievers or reading about motivation, learning, and leadership.

“Whether it’s in education, athletics, or life, I believe success comes from discipline, support, and the willingness to grow,” she said. “That’s what we’re instilling in our students every day.”

She also credits her earliest staff members—Amr, Dominique, Eden, and Kayin—with laying the foundation for the supportive culture that defines The Enrichery across all locations.

A Growing Role in the Katy Community

The Enrichery is already making its mark on the local landscape, not just through student success, but through community involvement. From hosting free parent workshops to providing meals for educators on in-service days, the center is committed to giving back.

Their involvement includes active participation in the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce, where Seitz and her team are eager to build deeper roots.

“We joined the Katy Chamber to connect with other small businesses and local families,” she noted. “We want to share our resources, collaborate with others, and be a real partner in helping Katy’s students thrive.”

Adrienne Davitz, VP of Membership and Community Engagement for the Katy Area Chamber, praised the partnership: “We’re proud to have The Enrichery as a member. Their commitment to student success and community engagement makes them an asset to our Chamber and to the families of Katy.”

A Future Focused on Student Empowerment

With its newest location off to a strong start, The Enrichery is already looking ahead to its first full summer season of programs in Katy-Fulshear. As Seitz and her team continue to build relationships and support local families, their mission remains clear: empower students with the skills, strategies, and confidence to succeed in school—and far beyond it.
