FunBox Set to Open in Copperfield August 22: The Ultimate Indoor Bounce Park & Family Experience
The Copperfield area is about to get a whole lot bouncier. FUNBOX, the self-described "world’s largest indoor bounce park," is opening its newest Texas location on August 22, 2025, at Copperfield Crossing (15540 FM 529, Houston, TX 77095), in the former Monkey Joe’s space near 24 Hour Fitness. Designed to delight kids, thrill teens, and even get adults in on the action, this all-ages inflatable playground promises more than just fun—it’s an immersive experience with heart.
With the tagline “more than a good time,” FUNBOX combines gravity-defying inflatable play zones with a commitment to giving back to the community. From Marshmallow Mountain to a 23-foot Slide, Gumball Gallop, Battle Beam, Obstacle Course, Ninja Wall, and the kid-favorite Chill Zone, the Copperfield location is packed with high-energy attractions ready to keep families moving.
A New Bounce Era in Northwest Houston
The FUNBOX concept exploded in popularity after debuting in Southern California and now spans 16 locations across the U.S., Canada, and Spain. Houston’s newest site brings the bounce indoors year-round and joins the brand’s location at Katy Mills, which opened in October 2024 and appears to be temporary closed at this time.
The 90-minute sessions are optimized for active fun—with grip socks required for all jumpers and thorough cleanings between time blocks. Birthday parties are a major focus as well, with FUNBOX positioning itself as the “Birthday Headquarters” for Northwest Houston families.

Family Fun with a Purpose
While FUNBOX’s inflatables and photo ops will certainly grab attention on Instagram, what sets it apart is its deeper mission. Nieves, who grew up with nine younger siblings in the foster care system, launched FUNBOX with a vision to create joyful, accessible experiences for all families—and to directly support youth in foster care.
In 2023, FUNBOX donated $100,000 to foster care nonprofits nationwide. That continued in 2024 with another $50,000, and in 2025 the brand launched the Futures for Foster Youth (F4FY) initiative to provide basic essentials for young women aging out of the foster system. From hygiene products to clothing and self-care items, the goal is to make these necessities a right, not a privilege.

Parents should note: All children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. For safety, children 5 and under must be joined in the bounce zones by a paying parent or carer.
