Jaggers Now Open in Katy, Serving Up Burgers, Shakes, and Southern Hospitality
A fresh, flavorful new spot has landed in Katy. Jaggers, the fast-casual restaurant concept from Texas Roadhouse founder Kent Taylor, officially opened its doors on Monday, June 2, at Grand Morton Town Center — and it’s already creating a buzz.
This isn’t your average burger joint. Known for its high-quality ingredients, fast service, and friendly atmosphere, Jaggers blends comfort food classics with just the right touch of creativity. From hand-breaded chicken tenders and made-to-order burgers to craveable sides and hand-spun milkshakes, the new Katy location is a welcome addition to the local food scene.
Jaggers first launched in Noblesville, Indiana in 2014 and has slowly expanded across the U.S., opening locations in Kentucky, North Carolina, and Texas. The Katy opening marks only the second Jaggers in the Lone Star State, following the debut of its Longview location in late 2023.

Located at the corner of Grand Parkway and Morton Road, Jaggers joins the growing roster of restaurants in Grand Morton Town Center. It follows the successful opening of Bubba’s 33 — another Texas Roadhouse brand — just down the road last summer.
The menu is loaded with comfort food favorites and fun twists. Popular items include the Sunrise Burger, topped with a fried egg and ham, and the Black Bean Burger made with a hearty black bean and quinoa patty. Guests can also enjoy fresh salads, creamy mac ’n cheese, golden shoestring fries, and rich, flavorful milkshakes in nostalgic flavors like banana split and chocolate chip cookie. And yes — there are homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies, too.
