Mason Creek Utility District to Host Final Family Movie Night at the Community Pool
As summer winds down, Nottingham Country residents have one more chance to enjoy a beloved seasonal tradition — Family Movie Night at the Mason Creek Utility District pool. The final event of the summer will be held on Friday, August 8 at 8 p.m., following the pool’s regular hours.
Hosted by the Mason Creek Community Center, Family Movie Night has brought together families from across the community throughout June, July, and now August. The event transforms the pool area into an outdoor theater, featuring a 15-foot by 12-foot inflatable movie screen and two outdoor speakers, ensuring everyone enjoys a big-screen experience under the stars.
This event is exclusively for pool members and their families and features family-friendly movies rated G and PG only. The Mason Creek team also provides lifeguards on duty throughout the event, allowing parents to relax while kids float and play in the water.

Organizers remind attendees to bring their favorite floats and enjoy watching from the water. Movie Night lasts for about two hours or until the movie concludes, whichever comes first. The program is designed to create a safe and welcoming family environment, bringing neighbors together in a unique summer setting.
Residents are encouraged to arrive early and bring towels, snacks, and family-friendly beverages to make the evening even more memorable. The event is also subject to schedule adjustments based on weather or pool availability, so residents should stay updated with the Mason Creek Utility District announcements.
