Trash Collection Guidelines
-
Container Requirements: Use personal trash containers between 30 and 50 gallons in size. Avoid using decorative, kitchen-sized, or drum-style containers, as they may be mistaken for trash.
-
Bagging: All household trash should be securely bagged. Each bag should not exceed 40 pounds.
-
Placement: Place trash bags or containers curbside by 6:30 AM on collection days. Ensure they are at least 3 feet from the curb and not obstructed by vehicles or other objects.
-
Prohibited Items: Do not dispose of hazardous materials such as gasoline, motor oil, liquid paints, cooking oil, or any other liquids in containers that are not visible to Best Trash personnel.
Recycling Guidelines
Accepted Materials
-
Paper: Newspapers, magazines, catalogs, junk mail, envelopes, file folders, office paper, cardboard boxes, cereal boxes, paper bags, phone books, wrapping paper, milk and juice cartons.

-
Glass: Clear and colored glass containers.
-
